What it gives you

The recommended SvelteKit application scaffold: AppShell as the root layout, a server runtime built once, and smrt app one-liners for every lifecycle script.

This package is one focused part of the s-m-r-t stack. Its decorated models participate in the same manifest, tenancy, persistence, and generated-interface conventions as the rest of the framework.

The shell and the server runtime

The root layout renders AppShell from @happyvertical/smrt-svelte/app with the generated read-only WebMCP definitions and a hand-written nav. The server side is createSmrtSvelteKitRuntime from @happyvertical/smrt-app-runtime/sveltekit, built once in src/lib/server/smrt.ts. That module exports only runtime, and generated routes resolve collections through runtime.getCollection. A legacy getCollection or getSmrtConfig export is deprecated and honored for one release.

Lifecycle scripts are CLI commands

Every package.json script is a smrt app one-liner, and the template ships no scripts directory. db:migrate builds first and then runs smrt app migrate under the operation lock. The production baseline is adapter-node with separate web, task-worker, and schedule-worker processes. Workers import the build-compiled registration before creating runners.
